KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead M&A transactions including share acquisitions, business combinations, and cross-border deals. 2. Manage due diligence processes, transaction structuring, and SPA negotiation from start to close. 3. Advise boards and executive teams on corporate governance, takeover regulation panel processes, and JSE requirements. 4. Drive business development with corporate clients, private equity houses, and financial advisors.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Admitted attorney with significant public M&A and corporate transactional experience. 2. Demonstrated ability to lead complex transactions end-to-end, not just assist. 3. Familiarity with JSE listings requirements, takeover regulation panel procedures, and cross-border deal structures. 4. An existing client base (transferrable book) and the commercial credibility to grow a book of business.
